LCD Recycling representative

Wax has contributed to Reflated, a major (£1.7M) Technology Strategy Board-funded collaborative project developing ground-breaking technology to recycle LCDs from EoL Laptops and monitors. The Reflated project followed on from the innovative work carried out under the EU-funded ReLCD project.

The Reflated process is the first clean, efficient and environmentally friendly method for the separation and treatment of liquid crystal material from EoL LCDs. Wax supported Active Disassembly research in its research and development activities as part of the project.
